As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, you will have
the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional
to a depth of 18 metres. If you have already tried a
PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba
Diver certified, credits from these courses may apply
to the open water program.
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit,
and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water
Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or
have a child between these ages, there is a PADI Junior

During the course youll learn fundamentals of
scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques.
The course comprises
of three sections; Knowledge Development, Confined Water
skills, and 4 Open Water Dives. The Knowledge Development
and Confined Water sections are commonly called a "referral
course". This is a popular option as it allows
you to complete the remaining dives on holiday, for
example
eLearning
This is a new study method introduced
by PADI. The online eLearning portion replaces the traditional
manual and DVD, allowing you to complete the knowledge

can then complete the remaining confined water section
with us or at any other PADI Dive Centre. More
